I was looking in the dictionary for a word I did not understand and I came across some words that reminded me of my last name, Ang.  Then I remember how everyone tried to accentuate my last name with similar words that start with the name Ang.  I thought maybe I would assist you with that.  The "Ang words" is as followed:

Ok ok i just realized that my college library allows you to check out digital camera.  so that is what i did.  right now i cant talk much because i have class soon and i have lots of work.  to the right i have uploaded some pictures of my college.  this is some of it. i havent gotten the ROTC building and the gym and the field.  also i have got to take a trip to the beach so that i can get some pic. 

 

Yes i am having a good time, and yes i do miss you all.  ironicly i havent been able to do any of the fun stuff you saw because i have been very busy.  it is hot down here and now i have to go.  later.

It is true.  We are fighting against strong dark forces.  We face it everyday; at every moment, and because we fight the Devil and his creatures, day and night, we bare scars.   I will let you know that we are winning.  Notice that I use the term "We".  For that We symbolizes that you and I are not alone.  You and I are together in the battle.  Side by side We stand with readied weapons.  We share wounds together, and We shed blood together. 

 

My friends, We are soldiers of God!  Not warriors.  Realize that warriors only cares about their enemy and themself, while a soldier works together to be victorious against their enemy.  Oddly there is a strange, unbreakable, bond between soldiers.  We call that bond brotherhood and sisterhood. 

 

I envision it now.  We stand in the front line with our broad swords, unsheathe, and our round shields wrapped tightly around our forearm.  Arrows are poking out of the ground, ready to be shot.  Then there is our leaders next to the general, our Lord, listening to the his strageties on their white stallions.   Andre's and Sarah's  Breastplate of Righteousness shines like gold.  The Belt of Truth peeks out, showing engraving of holiness.  A Shield of Faith by their horses' side. Boots that comes from the Good News that they are fully prepared.  Blades that has the word of God, sharpened so thin it could split hair.  Then they don the Helmet of Salvation, the battle is ready.

 

The order comes to make ready the  bows; they are strung as far as possible.  A moment of slience.  Then the arrows flies into the air.  The enemies' front line is decimated as the hail of arrows comes on them like rain.  The sound to charge is given and Andre and Sarah leads their companies into the charge.  Swords clash and shields bash.  Screams of terror comes.

 

When the fog of war is lifted we see that our armor holds strong and our shields are still intact.  No one died that day for we we strong with the Lord and the Shield of Faith stopped the firery arrows of the Devil.  We are victorious.

College...the final frontier.  Well not really, but it sure seems like it.  This is the time when boys become men, girls become women, and when discipline will be needed to build nothing into something.  The time when we finally see what it is like in the "real world" without the aid of our parents.  We will be doing what we have always avoided during our childhood, responsibility.

 

As most of you know I will be leaving for college in, as of now, 7 days to Daytona Beach, Florida.  The school, Embry Riddle, studying in Electrical Engineering.  I'll be 1018.80 miles away or 1639.5996672 kilometers away.  I don't what to expect whether success is in it for me, or failure will pull me down.

 

"Is it the right choice?" I often ask God and even myself.  I have been seeking the answer spiritualy, physically, and mentally.  Day and night i wonder, espcially right before bed; I would be staring up on my ceiling thinking what it would be like to be so distant.  Would i be crying my eyes out wanting to go back?  Rolling around in my bed trying to forget everything I held dear to me.  So far away...at least the internet helps relieves some of that stress.  But even the internet cannot replace the warm hugs of friends and family. 

 

Then there are those other thoughts.  Those what if''s.  What if i get a bad roommate?  What if I can't keep up with my grades?  What if I do not return?  What if.  I speak as if I am leaving for the Amazon trying to settle diplomatic relations between the lost tribe and monkeys; never to return again.

 

Friends, Family, Cell, Church, and even the Teddy Bear named Andre; I will miss you all.  God has blessed me with great people to guide me in this world. And as long as there is greatness in God's name, it shall be exalted.

Imagine a structure that was built by the very hands of man.  Imagaine what could be created.  Imagine how magnificent it would appear.  Now Look to your Right!  This took thousands of man hours to build.  For every brick layed it cost the lives of 10,000 men!  Every burger eatten, layed 2 slices pickle.  Every burger craved, was a steamed slap of meat.  Every burger thought of, were the squirts of ketchup and chopped onions.  And now we are here to watch in awe at the greatness of the White Castle Pyramid.  BEHOLD the power of the 49 cents burger. Never forget the power of what you crave.  NEVER!

I awake this morning to the ringing of my cell phone, "Hello?" Its Michelle and she said that Mel, Carina, and Clint were stuck on 18 with a flat tire.  "Do you have a spare tire with 5 holes in them?" asked Michelle, and I replied with an, "I don't think so, but ill check".  I checked and i didn't have a wheel with "5 holes" in the rims.  So I called them back to tell them to keep searching for help and I'll see if i can find one. 

 

There I am driving around 516 searching for a tire.  I go to every gas station, tire shop, and auto repair shop.  None to be found.  So i went to check up on the Swiss Family Robinson to see how they were doing.  All the way down 18 I met them between Exit 24 A and 24 B.  By the way that should be a reply when people ask "how are you doing?"  "Oh just beween 24 A and B." 

 

Now I get updated information; Raphael is comming to help out too.  So with that we wait for him.  Meanwhile, Mel decided to have one of her bright ideas (assisted by me) and laid down in front of my car pretending to be roadkill.  We even have a picture of it. 

 

Five minutes later, we see the red and blue lights of police cars  racing towards us.  At first I thought they heard our cries for help for a spare tire and we were getting special treatment.  "YAY! The Cavalry has come to save us!"  Moments later we have a police officer breathing down our necks asking if there was any fighting going on.  Oops...someone must have phoned in a report claiming there was a fight when Mel was pretending to be roadkill. 

 

Well as we gave up our license the officer threathens that he could arrest us for disorderly conduct.  Thank God he let us off and whos car do we find parked behind all those squad cars?  Raphael.  So Raphael takes Clint with his broken spare tire. I guess that one had "6" holes in it.  That leaves me with 3 girls in my car.  Deja Vu strikes me and i remember the last time i had 3 girls in my car.  Oh my ears.

 

A bottle of water, one Gatorade sippy, and a bar of chocolate later, Raphael and Clint comes back with a new tire.  They slap on the wheel and not wanting to repeat our earlier incident we said our goodbyes and thanks and left as soon as possible. 

 

What did we learn today?  Raphael = Good man, and playing dead on the highway could put us in jail.
